Menopause in Aesthetics 2025 – Conference Overview




The Menopause in Aesthetics (MiA) 2025 conference delivered a full day of cutting-edge education, practical insights, and multidisciplinary expertise – all focused on empowering aesthetic practitioners to better understand, support, and treat patients through the menopause journey.

Chaired by Dr Shirin Lakhani, Dr André Brittain-Dissont, and Dr Ginni Mansberg, the event will open with a look at the business case for introducing menopause services into aesthetic practice – showcasing how becoming a "menopause first responder" can benefit both patients and clinics

The morning sessions covered the foundations of menopause care, including:


  • Hormones and compounding – understanding treatment options from leading specialists.
  • The role of testing in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • How to recognise the signs and start conversations with patients.
  • The mental health impact of menopause and the risks of misdiagnosing depression and anxiety.
  • Managing menopause in younger patients, including POI, cancer, and surgical menopause cases.

After lunch, the programme shifted to aesthetic and clinical impacts, with expert panels exploring:

  • How menopause affects skin, hair, and overall aesthetic outcomes.
  • Intimate and sexual health, including bladder concerns.
  • Regenerative medicine innovations for menopause care.
  • Addressing facial volume loss with injectables.
  • A health optimisation approach to menopause for holistic patient wellbeing.


Throughout the day, delegates heard from internationally recognised speakers and practitioners from aesthetics, gynaecology, endocrinology, dermatology, mental health, and regenerative medicine.
